    Appointments

    Hi there

I have been reading your various posts and would be grateful for your help.  My son really needs to get an appointment to help with motivation!  I have had no direct contact with Dore since the Administration either by e-mail, post or telephone and I am becoming concerned that we may have been missed or overlooked in some way!

I gather that there is an appointments line to call to try for cancellations or any late availability appointments - could anyone please let me have a phone number for Dore - I only have numbers for dead lines!

    Very many thanks

    Re: Appointments

We had the email through on Monday and I have just used the link provided to book Danielle's appointment for this coming Monday Big Smile  Her original appointment was for the 2nd July just to give you some sort of idea where they are on the list. It does seem strange that some of you originally had appointments for June and are not yet able to make another Sad

If at first you don't succeed, try try try again ;-)

    Hi Missellie,

Did you get the email from Dore or did you just try the link? We got an email and had problems getting it to work on mydore so I posted a feedback and they rang me and sorted me out.

    Re: Appointments

Hi Kate no I have not recieved an e-mail yet I must admit there are those that are around the same date for their childs missed appointments as Kierans who have already had one, but we keep waiting. Mind you the longer we have to wait the more time I will have to think "can we afford to get to Kennilworth"???? Ellie XXX

    Re: Appointments

Hi - thanks for all your help and comments about appointments.  I couldn't get your link to work, Ballistic, but I did send an e-mail off to Dore and got a call back the next day!  We have an appointment for Tuesday - wow!!

My second son started the programme in March.  It's so hard to keep going without the target of a next appointment date and I KNOW what Dore can do!

My first son was on the programme for almost exactly 2 years and went from a nervous, uncoordinated child who could barely write to a happy cheerful, cheeky boy with a great sense of humour.  He has just started at an academically selective secondary school and LOVES it!  Exercises were a struggle almost every day and he still denies that the programme helped.  I have no such doubts!!!

Stick with it all of you - it IS worth the arguments - parenting isn't meant to be easy.  We found that physical confidence started to come quite quickly but the academic stuff took until well into the mental stage. A two year investment to change your child's life is nothing really!

     Good luck

     Gill
