Hi Joanne - yes, Harry does have difficulty with auditory processing and particularly comprehension. I have a private tutor now who specialises in dyslexia and she's working wonders. It isn't cheap, but I feel she's making a lot of progress with Harry and he likes her, which is good. His reading is great, although he is still reluctant to pick up a book, but I'm finding he is asking the spellings of words he sees in the newspaper for example. My daughter also hated reading until she discovered the Twilight series of books, and now she doesn't put them down, so I'm hoping as Harry matures, he will find something that "grabs" him.
Harry also is able to keep up with his friends now instead of existing in his own little bubble, which is wonderful. He even helps his mates with their schoolwork when they get stuck!
We never got the balance exercises easy, even at the end! :)
BTW, Harry says "keep at it Liam - it's well worth it at the end!"
