    Paying for assessments

Hi, I've just had another very confusing and frustrating email from Scott Quinnell.  We paid over £2,000 for our daughter to join the programme last March.  At that time we were told that we would not pay anything else.  That covered all our assessments.  When it changed to My Dore we continued on the programme quite happily and were assured that nothing had changed - this time in an email from Wynford Dore.  We are finally coming to the end of the programme and are due an assessment next week.  The email I just received looks like we are going to be asked to pay £89 for the privelage.  It's like having a gun pointing at your head - asking for more money when we paid up I think around £2,350.00 last year.  How on earth can you expect us to pay another £89 when our contract covered the Dore programme from start to finish.  I know it's changed to MyDore and things are different but our contract was a complete price from start to finish - not adding payments on during the programme.

I am so frustrated about this.  I could easily give up but in  the next couple of months our daughter is going to finish the programme.

I really need advice about this from someone at Dore.

    Re: Paying for assessments

    Hi,

After speaking to you earlier on the phone i thought i would add a post so everyone else is clear of the current situation. Everyone is entitled to an initial free of charge re-assessment and a free of charge completion assessment. If you choose to attend a progress appointment where the decision is made to continue with the programme by your Programme Coach and yourselves then there would be a charge of £89. These appointments are not essential and you can choose to attend just the free of charge assessments as myDore will continue to provide appropriate exercises.

Hope this helps but if anyone else is concerned please call me on 01926 800004 to discuss.

     Thanks, Charlie

Hi Charlie, thanks for the call and the information. I'm sure a lot of the 'oldies' will be grateful for the information. It's confusing for the one's who joined prior to My Dore. But we are now clear about our position and can continue as agreed. Michelle
