Mark, it doesn't look like those in Australia will get anything at all, according to the official administrators today. In the UK, if DORE go into liquidation it depends on how much money there is left, but I would expect people not to get everything back and be prepared that it may be nothing.
I'll post the information & consumer rights etc on my blog as soon as I can, should be up this evening. the most important thing to do in terms of getting money back is probably registering as a creditor (this applies to staff unpaid salaries too). As soon as I find who is dealing with the administration I will post it here. If anyone else knows or finds this out, please post & circulate it ASAP.
I've been passed on this statement for the media, sent by Phil Hall (DORE's PR person) this morning:
'Dore UK has not gone into administration. A
spokesman for Dore said: "The business is being restructed to make it more cost
efficient. We will be communicating directly with our clients. Plans are being
drawn up to ensure that every patient is able to complete their programme.
Wynford Dore has subsidised the programme to the tune of £15 million and is
unable to sustain that level of investment any longer.'
This seems at variance with what's been posted on here, particularly if staff have had their contracts terminated. More info when I get it.
