Brilliant news sylvia, and chris... Sometimes they just need some help with the revision of the basics as though they may have being 'taught' it they havnt 'learnt' it if that makes sense to you... I got some SAT's revision books(from Whsmiths £3.99) and worked through them with Jordan to see where his weak areas were...then we worked on them together (i cant afford a private tutor!!)...though I still HATE fractions so asked his teacher to work on those with him!!!! 15mins each night just going over the basics can help sooooo much...xxx

That's great Silvio, all stuff to help with confidence. Cordination most definitley improves, and it makes them happy to keep up with their peers., that means the most to Math.

Cool Beans, Eraina and son (which one is it??? I cannot get this window out of the way to see your post, drats!!)

Yes, the placebo effect is wonderful.  Especially since your kiddo knew ahead of time that this would be a benefit and was waiting with baited breath for better behaviour.  Kidding aside though realistically, like my son, he probably could care less!  LOL!

Hi everyone, just wanted to have a little brag!!  Its just the little things that people say about J when they have no idea about him doing Dore that make you realise that things are really changing. I have thought for a while that he is a lot happier in himself but last night after he had been training with his team, his coach mentioned to his dad how he wasnt getting so frustrated about stupid things anymore and how he wasnt letting other people wind him up so that he had a go back at them. He said he was really pleased how much he had " grown up" the last couple of months. This coach has known J for 4 years so its brilliant to hear that other people are starting to see a difference.

Only a little thing i know but it really made my day!!

OK - just an update. Harry has had a good week - lots of "little moments", but tonight he came home with his award - "Star of the Week" for .... wait for it .... literacy. Amazing!

Eraina suggested I should send it to my Centre and get them to put it on the Noticeboard, so I'll do that right now :) Thanks Eraina.

I thought I would add my brag as well, Kieran has done a week of exercises without having a "hissy fit" saying he is hopeless and Dore will no way help him at school!!!!

Adding to that I gather his teacher is really pleased with his writing over the last month where it has become much neater and readable. All down to Dore I am sure. Ellie XXX

    Hi Everyone,

This is just to say my little girl was born on the 1st of March. We've called her Poppy-Rose and John is adorable with her. He has taken on the role of big brother with pride, wants to hold her and sooth her and help me with her. If someone can tell me how to put a picture in the space provided, I will put one of them together on here.

    Thanks,

    Sylvia
