    Cost of MyDore?

Can anyone tell me how much it costs to start the MyDore programme?

    Re: Cost of MyDore?

    Hi

The initial assessment will cost £525. If the results show that you are suitable for the Dore Programme then there will be an additional cost of £49.50 per month for 12 months, which is paid for by direct debit. Whilst there is supposedly a reduced requirement to attend a Dore Centre for progress assessments, these can be arranged as required at a cost of £89 each. So, in total I would estimate that you will pay around £1400 for the programme, which represents quite a substantial saving over what it used to cost (>£2000).

I was able to get an appointment for an initial assessment within 2 weeks of contacting Dore, and the best way to do that in my experience was to use the email address at the top of the website (info@dore.co.uk) to request a call back.

Hope this helps and best of luck.

    Best Regards

    Stuart

    Hi Stuart,

    Interesting information there!

Do you end up paying more if you opt to do it by DD?

Is/was your appt in Kenilworth? If yes, did they give any indication of when any new centres would be opening?

Good luck if you are yet to have your appt!

    Re: Cost of MyDore?

Hello, and apologies for taking time to get back to you - I've been out of circulation for a while.

To answer your questions, I don't know if I've paid more as a result of opting for DD as DD was the only option. However, I would think not as there was no mention of interest on payments etc. Apparently, the idea behind the altered cost and payment structure was to make it more affordable and accessible for everyone.

My appointment was in Kenilworth. I was told that they were hoping to open new centres in partnership, but there was no mention of where or when. I got the impression that they hoping that it would be soon, but nothing more than that.

The staff I met at Kenilworth were excellent and my assessment was very thorough. I would suggest you try to get an early appointment as you stand a bettwer chance of being seen on time.

    Best regards

    Stuart
