    Balancing

I think we may finally have cracked those balancing ex's! Finally, Harry has managed to stand on a cushion, standing on one leg, without putting his foot down! Hurrah!!!!! Other ex's are becoming easier too. We're on the home run now .......

Great news bugalug. A similar thing happened with Laura. Everything suddenly became easy almost over night (even the dreaded sitting on a wobble board exercise) . It wasn't long after that, that she started to get bored and it seemed like she was just going through the motions. That's when we felt the time was right for her to finish. Sounds like Harry will be ready soon. When he does that final exercise you'll feel like you've won the lottery. Keep up the good work Harry!!

    Re: Balancing

You're on the home run now!  It is doubly impressive since you would think he would be tired with school!  It is funny how suddenly they find even the hardest exercises so much easier and you just know that they are getting to the point where they are ready to finish.  Won't be long now!!

Allie - I'm sure once school kicks in, it will get harder. He's only been there 2 days! Overall though, a great improvement.

How fantastic bugalug, it is amazing how things have suddenly seemed to click and how you can now imagine the end could be in sight. That must be a great feeling. Well done to Harry too for obviously trying so hard.

    Re: Balancing

He may have only been at school 3 days now Chris but he will begin to stop struggling so much at school he is near to completion, he now has the capacity to learn along with everyone else it is just a case of making up for lost time.

Leila did find transferring from primary school to senior school difficult she had spent all her younger years in learning needs and was suddenly in normal classes expected to be able to learn along with everyone else. But she had gaps in her learning from pre dore so found the work hard.

Harry may find the same Chris so keep an eye on him and if he is getting stressed about it then act on it. It does not mean he is going backwards, he has still got the gaps in his learning ability which he has not caught up on yet, but he will !!!!. Ellie XXX
